TyreWatch is a sophisticated predictive tyre management system engineered for mining fleets. Every installation is configured to the individual specifications of each vehicle.

Sensors which process both pressure and temperature are mounted securely within the wheels. These send data to the on-board TyreWatch controller, which collates data from all the sensors. This controller automatically couples with the trailer’s sender unit, without any driver or fleet office involvement.

The TyreWatch controller provides a real-time condition report on every tyre. Through cellular connectivity, the controller sends all the data back to the TyreWatch server. This provides easy access to same tyre report on all devices – desktop, laptop, tablets and mobile phones – logged into your TyreWatch account.

TyreWatch efficiently monitors and analyses on:
Tyre Pressure
  • Rapid pressure leakage – more than 5 psi in 15 seconds

  • 20% under baseline pressure

  • 30% above baseline pressure

  • Unequal pressure across an axle

Tyre temperature
  • Alerts when temperature in the tyre exceeds 90 ºC

Vehicle speed
  • Excessive speed is a major cause of rapid tyre attrition

Location
  • With in-built GPS, the vehicles location is recorded

TyreWatch saves you time and money

TyreWatch will save your drivers time with their daily visual inspections. With accurate pressures displayed on the TyreWatch server you need only correct the tyres that require attention.

Running tyres at incorrect pressures can be a serious, yet an often underestimated, drain on resources. As friction is increased, fuel consumption and carbon emissions are increased, and the service life of the tyres is reduced. More importantly, the vehicle’s handling, braking and stability are also adversely affected.

TyreWatch predictive tyre management works seamlessly to:
  • Continuously monitor and analyse your fleet’s tyres

  • Inform you of routine maintenance requirements

  • Predict and prevent potential tyre failure

Additionally, it will:
  • Maximise vehicle uptime

  • Improve road safety for everyone

  • Increase tyre life

  • Reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions

  • Optimise tyre maintenance
